BUSY 16, business accounting software from Busy Infotech Private Limited, has become the first accounting software to provide the latest Delhi Value Added Tax (DVAT) e-Return filing feature in its software.
Delhi Government has recently changed the format of DVAT e-Return. Till now, DVAT e-Return was based on Item’s tax rate only but, from now onwards, apart from Item’s tax rate, the taxpayer has to mention the Item’s Commodity Code and Description as well.
Item Codes are standard classification codes for goods where each code indicates a specific Item Category with a unique number. For example, Item Code for Fans is 9029, whereas Item Code for Bulbs is 9030.
In BUSY 16, all that a User has to do is to map their existing Items with their respective Item Codes. Once all the Items are mapped, the new DVAT e-Return can be easily generated with just a few clicks.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajesh Gupta, Director, Busy Infotech Pvt. Ltd, said, “I am delighted to share that BUSY is the first business accounting software to implement the feature of Delhi VAT e-Return filing with Item Names and Item Codes. This is in sync with our commitment to provide state-specific VAT related changes on highest priority. Hope, this would benefit all the taxpayers while filing the e-Return for Delhi VAT. Our strong and experienced technical support team is going to provide support for any kind of queries from taxpayers in this regard.”
