Epson Entry Level Projector Range Enhanced

Epson has updated its entry-level projector range with performance levels and features that used to be found exclusively in its mid-range to high end models.

The entire entry-level range now features powerful lamps with brightness ranging from 3200 lumens to 3600 lumens, as well as standard features that include HDMI connectors, optional wireless connectivity with mobile devices, and Epson’s unique Horizontal Keystone Adjuster.

The new series allows customers to select their most ideal projector from a wide range of five models that have different combinations of resolutions, brightness ratings, features and interfaces to optimise their budget – so they only need to purchase the model with the exact features they need.

Features in detail:

Superior Image Reproduction with 3LCD Technology – The new projectors’ bright lamps are paired with Epson’s proprietary 3LCD technology which offers full-time colour projection with three separate LCD panels (Red, Green and Blue). Epson’s 3LCD engine ensures that users get high white light, as well as colour light output for bright and colour-accurate images, and smooth projections of movies without colour breakup.

Horizontal Keystone adjuster – A unique feature to Epson projectors, the Horizontal Keystone Adjuster is a physical slider that lets users conveniently and quickly correct keystone distortions caused when the projector is placed at an angle to the projection surface.

Optional Wi-Fi connectivity – The new projectors can accommodate an optional Epson Wi-Fi adapter (ELPAP10) that allows owners to use Epson’s iProjection app to wirelessly transmit content from Apple iOS or Google Android devices for projection.

AV Mute slide lens shutter – The lens shutter found on the projectors serves as a handy ‘mute’ function that will allow the user to turn the projection off and put the projector on standby temporarily in the midst of their presentation. The projection can be turned back on instantly by sliding the lens shutter open again.

Direct Display from USB – With this feature, users can insert USB memory devices containing images in supported formats like JPG, PNG, GIF and BMP into the projector for playback as a slideshow without the need for PC.
