Networking firm Netgear has anointed Marthesh Nagendra, as Country Manager for India and SAARC region to spearhead its new growth initiatives, streamline channel structure and partner base, enhance quality of customer service and expanding retail presence including branded offline & online stores.

The Company also revealed its initiative for 2017 which includes moving purely into solution based selling across its range of innovative networking products that connect people, power businesses, and advance the way humans live, work and play.
For instance, the company plans to deploy robust Wi-Fi systems in high-end homes with ORBI, tap ever growing home automation market using ARLO, NIGHTHAWK & ORBI and offer high-bandwidth streaming, Private Cloud and 10G switches to suit requirements of bandwidth intensive audio-video, ISP and Surveillance applications. Netgear’s award winning NAS will address the storage solutions for all while an extensive range of Wi-Fi solutions will continue to offer wireless network solutions with longest warranties and low maintenance.
Netgear is also rolling out an aggressive partner program to recruit, train, certify and support a wider base of solution partners in India & SAARC. The Netgear Solution Engineer Certification program will additionally ensure that all those who sell Netgear solutions in the region are well trained and duly certify to support customers across home, business and service provider market segments.
On the retail front, the company intends to open around 50 partner managed Netgear retail outlets across Indiawhich showcases entire range of Netgear products to improve visibility, customer touch and prompt support for its extensive range of Wireless, Storage, Security and home automation products.
To deliver enhanced customer connect, Netgear has earmarked plans for larger presence at key trade shows and rolling out engaging web, mobile, social and other brand building campaigns.
