Virtusa Corporation, a global business consulting and IT outsourcing company that accelerates business outcomes for its clients, today announced that its veteran Samir Dhir has been appointed President and will take charge of running all industry verticals for the organization.

In his earlier role, Samir spearheaded the delivery leadership for Virtusa from India and was responsible for bringing delivery efficiency and scale to support Virtusa’s worldwide business operations. As one of India’s top thought leader, Samir was also a member of key industry forums like NASSCOM’s prestigious IT Council. Under his leadership, NASSCOM released a comprehensive report on, ‘The Digital Readiness of Indian IT service providers’.
