SUSE and Pi DATACENTERS to offer whole stack of cloud and hosting services

SUSE, a pioneer in Linux and open source solutions, has partnered with Pi DATACENTERS, an Amravati-based (Andhra Pradesh) cloud service provider, to offer Cloud and SDDC services in India.

Both the companies SUSE will collaborate to offer a complete spectrum of Cloud and Hosting services to customers in India. Pi DATACENTERS is the first 100 percent Software-Defined-Data-Center (SDDC) & Cloud Service Provider in India to have adopted SUSE OpenStack Cloud.

“SUSE and Pi DATACENTERS will leverage each other’s strength in delivering next-generation data center and Cloud services to enterprises in India. This will also bring more value and flexibility to SUSE’s customers as they can extend the benefits of SUSE products beyond their in house data centers,” said Rajarshi Bhattacharyya, Country Head at SUSE, India.

SUSE OpenStack Cloud will power Pi to offer a robust platform on which independent and isolated Clouds could be provisioned as a part of its various industry-specific Cloud solutions. Pi currently offers customized Cloud solutions for verticals across IT/ITES, BFSI, Government & PSU, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Education, E-Commerce and Retail.

“Our innovative and tailored @PiCloud offerings coupled with the agility and stability of SUSE OpenStack Cloud enable a rapid self-provisioning of Cloud environments for varied workloads. The smooth integration of SUSE OpenStack Cloud with other major elements of our data center environment, like Arista SDN and EMC SDS, has been key in making Pi a true SDDC,” said Kalyan Muppaneni, Founder & CEO, Pi DATACENTERS. “With a significant part of industry being on SUSE Linux already, it would be of utmost ease for enterprises to migrate on @PiCloud powered by SUSE OpenStack.”

Pi delivers SDN through SUSE OpenStack and Arista, which enables clients to deploy NFV in the network infrastructure. SUSE OpenStack Cloud also enables Pi to integrate the Cloud Orchestration across multiple data centers from a single control center.
